The incredible and now iconic Canadian folk artist.Maudwas uniquely creative, self-taught, specialized in painting everyday rural life, loved animals and appreciated the beauty of nature.

The story is a long one fromChad Brown in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He owns the original collection from Bill Ferguson who was a Maud Lewis collectorandpromoter. Bill Ferguson signed a contract with Maud and Everett in 1962 to reproduce the work with no terms. The collection was made to try and highlight Maud’s work as an artist and gain more popularity for her. Permission was givenfor the images to be used freely and with love.
