What is a lanyard?

A lanyard is a strap used to hang a badge, worn around the neck. Made of fabric ribbon. Available in various colors, it has a hook at the end, which holds a cardholder or document holder. So the lanyard strap is used with plastic badges or other document holders. It consists of:

• A durable fabric strap with a soft texture, 1 centimeter wide and 40 centimeters long.
• A snap-closure metal hook.

This strap, which closes with a safety clasp, features a metallic hook that stays securely closed. When the badge is placed snugly, it automatically recloses with the same pressure as the hook. Available in several colors:

It is used to hang an announcement, in the form of business cards, documents or announcements, which a person wears to identify themselves to an audience or at an event.
