What is Kraft paper?

Kraft paper, also known as wrapping paper, is a paper obtained from wood fiber pulp. Its inventor was the Swede Carl Dahl, who developed it in 1884. In German, the word “Kraft” means strength, which says a lot about the characteristics of Kraft paper.It is a coarse, thick, brown paper.
