INTRO TO WATERCOLOR: STORYBOOK SCENES WORKSHOP

Class Date:Sunday, September 13th

Class Time: 12pm3pm

Get ready to explore the world of watercolors with a storybook theme! This beginner friendly workshop will introduce you to the magical world of watercolor painting as we create fun storybook scenes.

Watercolors are an incredible medium to work with! You will be guided through different brushstroke techniques, color theory exercises and step-by-step instruction on how to set up a painting as well as tips and tricks along the way.

Then we will move on to creating your very own watercolor artwork (choose from 3 templates).

You will also leave with all your painting supplies and materials so you can continue creating at home!

Each workshop ticketincludes:

• 3 hours of hands on instruction from a talented artist and small business owner

• 5″ x 7″ watercolor paper
• Pencil and polymer eraser
• 1 pre-filled paint palette
• 2 paint brushes
• 2 archival ink pens

• Snack bento box + treats

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: ANNA MUNIZ

Anna is the artist and owner of Watercoloratx, based in Austin, Texas. Her work is inspired by the architecture and character of her hometown, Austin. Anna taught herself how to watercolor in 2017 and has loved it ever since! When she isn’t working on watercolors, she enjoys drinking coffee, playing with her dogDarcy and trying new restaurants!

Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or pick up any personal workshop materials the week following the class.

Dietary restrictions: We will beproviding a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option available. (Please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)

Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshopsare createdfor adults and arenotrecommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
