What is a Carbonless Copy Book?

With the Carbonless Copy Book When a service is provided or a product is sold, the seller or service provider must issue an invoice, but if that person is not required to issue an invoice, they issue a collection statement. In this context, the collection statement is a document that states or claims payment of a determined value, addressed to the creditor from whom payment is requested. The collection statement is not a document or title defined by commercial or civil law, and its origin is more in custom. The collection statement itself does not constitute an enforceable title, much less a negotiable instrument, because it does not meet one of the requirements of article 422 of the general code of procedure, in that it must come from the debtor, and the collection statement does not come from the debtor but from the creditor.

What is the presentation of the Carbonless Copy Book?

The carbonless copy books or pads are protected by a thin but resistant cardboard, and part of this helps us isolate the sheets we are using from the others, thus preventing what is written from transferring to other sheets. There are 24 sheets with their respective copy. The sizes are:

• Mini (horizontal and vertical): 11.7 cm X 8.5 cm
• Small: 11.3 cm X 16.5 cm
• Medium: 13.5 cm X 17 cm
• Large: 16 cm X 22.2 cm
